South of Symbolism

The Albany Area Arts Council is pleased to exhibit South of Symbolism recent works by K. Meredith Lear-Perkins and Lauren Adams. The exhibit will feature paintings, drawings, sculpture, digital photography, and video by the artists, who are both native to the south and who address personal ideas on history and social issues.

The exhibition will open at the Albany Area Arts Council with a reception on Thursday April 2 @ 6PM. The opening reception is free and open to the public. Please join us to meet the artists and mingle with old and new friends over light refreshments.

An artist talk, open by invitation to current members of the Albany Area Arts Council, will begin at 5:15PM and precede the public opening reception.

The artwork is for sale. The exhibition will remain on display through April 28, 2015.
